If you finish early, you might find yourself wondering what you can do next. Below are options that you can choose from:
The first thing you should do is log in to Qmlativ (click here to Login!) and check to see if you have any missing work. If you do, you should silently work on this at your desk. You can also look into your planner and if you have any upcoming assignments you haven't finished, you could work on those as well.
Either open up a book from home, the library, or choose one from the classroom and read it silently at your desk. If you borrow a book from the classroom, please set it back before class is over.
You very likely have a test or quiz coming up in the next week or so. If so, head over to the study resources page and begin studying by:
Completing your assigned study guide
Playing one of the online review games
Rereading articles and answering the comprehension questions
Already caught up on your work and doing well in class (80% (B-) or higher?): Check out one of these extension activities you could do to deepen your knowledge of our units!
Did you know that solving puzzles is like a workout for your brain (click here to learn more!)? In the back of the room, there is a puzzle that students from all classes are working on. With teacher permission, feel free to go to the back and work on it. Please be mindful to keep all pieces on the puzzle board so that they don't get lost.
With permission from your teacher, look at the Science Career bulletin board. Select one of the careers listed and then visit one of the following websites to learn more about those careers.
