About Me

I am Mrs. Meyer and I teach 6th grade English Language Arts. I am excited about the year ahead! 

This is my 4th year at TVM and my 10th year teaching overall. I've taught 6th-12th graders, and 6th grade is my favorite! I truly enjoy teaching 6th grade and helping students at this stage in their education.  My goal is to create a strong foundation for each of my students so that they can continue to be successful in their classes as they progress through middle school.  

I am blessed with a wonderful husband and two amazing children (and one on the way!) Being a parent is the greatest privilege of my life. Teaching is next, though both go hand and hand, and I hope my students can learn about themselves through their English class and grow towards becoming the people they want to become.
